BAPTISM PREPARATION As part of our parish’s ministry for young families preparing for Baptism of their children, we will invite them to two sessions of preparation, usually on the first Sunday of the month, from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. Members of our team will share, discuss, and prepare for the Baptism ceremony, using a video, reflection, questions, personal witness, and a little walk-through of the ceremony and symbols in the Church. Please contact the parish office if you are seeking baptism for your child.
BIBLE STUDY We explore the Bible using different studies and programs, supported by the Catechism of the Catholic Church and other reference materials. We learn more about God’s Word and His love and mercy for us as we share our knowledge and life experiences in a group setting. All are welcome. There may be a cost for materials. For more information, follow our announcement in the bulletin. RITE OF CATHOLIC INITIATION OF ADULTS (RCIA) If you are considering taking the next steps towards becoming Catholic and would like to learn more about the Catholic faith, the RCIA program is your starting point. Attendees meet in a casual environment with others who are exploring the Catholic faith to understand more about the basic message of Christ and the mission of his Church. Formed in the foundations of the Catholic faith, beliefs and practices, those who desire to become Catholic are initiated into the Catholic faith at the Easter Vigil. The RCIA program is for adults, and youth is an accessible and welcoming way to take a look at the bigger picture about God, Jesus, the Bible, the Christian story and the Catholic Church. If you have questions and would like to speak with someone about the program, or if you are interested and would like to register, please contact our pastoral minister Anna G. (519)742-5061 ext 7.
