CLOSURE NOTICE The church and office will be closed next week. September 7-11. MASS ON TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 8th, 9:30 A.M. Celebrate the Nativity of our Lady. **This will replace our usual 7:00 p.m. Mass There will be no Masses held Tuesday night through Friday. We will be back to our regular schedule Saturday, September 12th. Thank you for your understanding.

New Fall Programs: We are happy to showcase a number of new programs for the fall at the parish. We invite you to find one that speaks to you and sign up. 1. The RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) is a formation process for adults to learn about and join the Catholic Church. We meet every Thursday 7:00-9:00 pm, beginning October 1st. In our parish, the RCIA formation extends to: Unbaptized adults (of any religious background); Christians baptized in other denominations seeking full communion with the Catholic Church and adult Baptized Catholics who never received First Communion or Confirmation. We invite Parishioners, who would like to serve as sponsors/mentors for the RCIA candidates to join the program this year. For all interested, please contact: [email protected] 2. THE HEART OF PRAYER is an eight-session journey inviting participants to slow down, quiet their hearts, and discover the beauty of a deeper life of prayer. Through Scripture, the wisdom of the saints, and practical reflection, Bishop Cozzens offers practical guidance for growing in intimacy with God. Journey into Deeper Prayer. A great spiritual course for those who desire a deeper prayer life. It is an 8-part series exploring the ancient Christian tradition of interior prayer. Dates: Tuesdays, September 15 – November 3. Time: 7:30- 9 p.m. Contact and Registration info: [email protected] 3. LITURGY OF ADORATION AND HEALING is a new and special devotion offered by Fr. Rajesh. It combines prayers for physical, emotional, or spiritual restoration with contemplative worship, moments of silence, meditative chants and adoration of Jesus Christ in the Blessed Sacrament. During the Liturgy, an opportunity for individual/family Benediction will be offered. This devotion will take place the very last Friday of the month at 7:00 pm. No registration needed. Everyone is invited. 4. GRIEVING PROGRAM: It is a diocesan 6-week program helping you to understand your grief and providing practical tips for helping you through it. Starting September 28th, hosted by Deacon Michael and his wife, Jen. More info to follow. 5. LUKE: THE STORY OF SALVATION FULFILLED — 8-Week Catholic Bible Study. This course is based on the presentation offered by Jeff Cavins on the Gospel of St. Luke— video plus small-group discussion. All are welcome. $20 fee, which includes the workbook, is payable at the first session. Date and time: Thursdays, October 1 – November 19, 2026, 7:00–8:30 pm. FAMILY CATECHISM PROGRAM (FCP) is one of many initiatives presented by the Family Foundations Institute that follows the teachings of St. John Paul II on family. FCP is meant for families to work together in their common task of Faith formation. Meetings will take place on Sundays from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm at St. Mary’s High School (1500 Block Line Rd, Kitchener). LIFE TEEN is where faith comes alive, friendships are formed, and most importantly, we encounter Jesus Christ in the Eucharist together! We invite you to join us every second and fourth Friday at Blessed Sacrament Church from 7 PM to 9 PM. We’ll have fun games, food and faith-filled discussions. PRAYER MINISTRY The purpose of this ministry is to support members of our parish community through prayer. Parishioners with prayer intentions or special requests are encouraged to send them to [email protected]. These intentions will be shared among members of the prayer ministry for continued support. The group will gather weekly in the church on Thursday evenings at 6:00 PM to pray together as a community for the submitted intentions.
